The human touch
Look a little closer.
The surface is part of the story.
A mark, a movement, a texture.
Hand-painted art carries the gestures that made it. Look at the direction of a brushstroke, the meeting of two colours and the way light falls across the surface.
Know the piece you are choosing.
Materials and methods vary between works. Ask us for the medium, surface, finish and artist details for the piece you are considering.
See beyond the room photograph.
An interior image helps you imagine the mood of a piece. Before ordering, request a straight-on photograph, a close-up of the texture, and an image of the edges or frame. Confirm the exact dimensions to understand the scale.
